PASTOR KEITH BOWMAN

Best One (1).JPG

Keith Bowman II currently serves as the Children's / Youth Pastor at Ooltewah Adventist Church in Chattanooga, TN. Keith is a graduate of GCA, Southern Adventist University, and the

Theological Seminary at Andrews University. Prior to coming to Chattanooga, Keith worked for the North American Division’s Adventist Learning Community as the Associate Director for Pastoral Professional Growth. Prior to his time at the NAD, Keith enjoyed positions in Oregon as associate pastor, youth pastor, chaplain, and Bible teacher at an academy, as well as a stint devoting himself full time to TheHaystack.org, a website he created as a media hub for Adventist young adults.

In recent years, Keith really felt God calling him back to frontline pastoral ministry, and he is thrilled to share his varied talents and passion with the Ooltewah community! He loves community service, teaching people about the Bible, and seeing lives changed through Christ.

Keith’s creative ideas and high energy keep him busy thinking about and implementing ways to connect people to Jesus. Some of his recent work includes a book he authored titled New Earth Chronicles: Scars in Heaven, and a YouTube channel about Adventist beliefs called “Sabbath Apologetics.” Keith has also launched an evangelistic tool called “The Sabbath Gift.” This is a new type of evangelism he is calling “experiential evangelism.” It is a 7-day challenge that reframes how you organize your time. Also, check out a series of visually appealing digital Bible studies that he wrote called A Picture of God - apictureofgod.com.

Keith is married to Shayna (Clifford) and the couple has two children, Keith III and Kenna.
