Matthew Shallenberger is a writer, speaker, advocate, & pastor. His Facebook page is focused on breaking the silence and ending cycles of oppression in the faith community.

Matthew is a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan and the father of two boys: Malachi and Eli. His wife, Emmalee, is a freelance graphic designer and runs her own business Emmalee Designs.

Matthew graduated with his Master's in Divinity and has pastored in Bowman Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church, Warner Robbins Seventh-day Adventist Church and Oglethorpe Seventh-day Adventist Church. He started his current job as Associate Pastor at Ooltewah Adventist Church in 2017.
